"Special K" is a fast long range equipped with a Marlin/Cobia tower which we will be tournament Cobia fishing in the spring of 2009 for those interested , and Marlin/Swordfishing in the summer months.
Deep water bottom fishing is also one of our specialties, ask about very deep fishing with
electric "deep drop" tackle.
We welcome familys in our shorter range fishing trips, light tackle, fun fishing, we love kids!!!
They are our future and nothing like watching them catch fish and learn the why , how , and where!!!
2009 promises to be a fantastic fishing year, we are in high gear getting ready for a early spring fishing.
(captains note) I was involved in rebuilding this Bertram, most newer fiberglass boats in the 40' range were not suitable for charter fishing. These hulls are solid glass, not thin, or have a core. in the our fleet the Infinities , and Bertrams share the same hull, this boat was "Miss Destin 2" after fishing it 7 years I purchased it because of its reliability, seaworthiness, and I knew every part and piece.
I renamed it "Special K" after my daughter Kati. In doing this I lost my website, so all this I had to start over............but its still me, Andy Vaughn, and those that know me , well I am a fisherman, the Bertram is fast, and I love catching BIG fish.........
