Conservation Cooperative of Gulf Coast Fisherman
Conservation Cooperative of Gulf Fishermen > > The reason this organization is being set up is to provide a Gulf-wide consensus on issues that concern the fishing industry as well as you and your business. Our federal legislative leaders have said this will help with the federal issues of fishing standards now and in the future. The CCGF hopes to be able to change the strict regulations now in place as well as have input in future legislation decisions concerning fishing in the Gulf . We need a unified voice across the Gulf, working for the best interests of the recreational fishermen as well as all businesses that rely on tourism which in turn affects the entire community. Everyone is encouraged to join CCGF and get involved. CCGF Executive Director Bob Zales, said membership is open to all. The fee $500 for fishing vessel owners, operators and crew members; associate business membership is $100; and associate individual membership is $25. For corporate membership contact Bob Zales at bobzales@att.net. You may mail membership checks to CCGF, P.O. Box 53, Orange Beach, AL 36561 or contact Bob Zales at bobzales@att.net. or at 850-258-4838. Remember, if you live or work in Bay County this does affect you.
