> The reason this organization is being set up is to provide a Gulf-wide
consensus on issues that concern the fishing industry as well as you and your
business. Our federal legislative leaders have said this will help with the
federal issues of fishing standards now and in the future. The CCGF hopes to be
able to change the strict regulations now in place as well as have input in
future legislation decisions concerning fishing in the Gulf . We need a unified
voice across the Gulf, working for the best interests of the recreational
fishermen as well as all businesses that rely on tourism which in turn affects
the entire community. Everyone is encouraged to join CCGF and get involved. CCGF
